The Touring Sauna - Terms And Conditions Of Use
Please familiarise yourself with our terms of use and guidelines for the safe enjoyment of our sauna. If you are placing a booking on behalf of a group, it is your responsibility to ensure that all users are aware of the following terms and conditions and that all members of your booking practice safe sauna use.
All persons using the sauna, do so at their own risk. We ask that you contact your GP if at all in doubt about safely using the sauna.
Our sauna takes place in natural environments, where there is uneven and wet surfaces, please take care when walking around.
You must not use the sauna if you suffer from high or low blood pressure or any heart or circulatory disorder, or suffer from epilepsy or diabetes; are pregnant; or are prone to dizziness or fainting.
If you have any reservations regarding sauna use, such as medical conditions, underlying health problems, the use of prescription drugs or pregnancy, it is essential that you consult your GP before making a booking.
Medical Safety:
Please seek medical advice before coming if any of the following apply:

You are taking regular prescription or over the counter drugs.

You are pregnant or suspect you are.

You have any cardiovascular conditions or are taking blood pressure medications.

You have a pacemaker or defibrillator.
-
You have epilepsy.
-
You have had a heart attack or stroke.
-
You have a recent joint injury, or you have joints that are chronically swollen.
-
You have metal pins, rods, artificial joints or any other surgical implants.
-
You have asthma or breathing conditions.
-
Have any chronic underlying medical condition.
The Touring Sauna cannot accept responsibility for customers with the above conditions or in the above situations.
Sauna etiquette and safe behaviour must be always adhered to. These include:
Dress code:

Swimwear must be worn during all our sauna sessions, private or communal saunas.

Removing shoes/sandals/flip flops prior to entering the sauna.

To prevent burning, jewellery should be removed before entering.

You must bring a clean towel to sit on.
In the sauna:
Exposure to hot equipment, slippery surfaces, hot and cold temperatures, is done so at your own risk.

Entering and exiting the sauna in a safe manner.

Keeping access points clear to allow other users to exit safely and swiftly if needed.

You must not help yourself to essential oils or bring your own. The Sauna host will provide these and they will only be used if all attendees are happy to do so.

Sauna sessions of no longer than 20 minutes at a time, we recommend 5-15 min at a time, followed by a cool off.

Do not touch any part of the stove / stove cage or rocks. These are extremely hot and would cause a burn. The sauna attendant will manage the fire. The sauna is wood-fired and is extremely hot. Do not touch the stove, stove door, flu chimney, sauna rocks, or surrounding fire guards, and only as instructed to pour water onto
the stones. When pouring water on the rocks, start from the point furthest away from you to prevent scalding -
Alcohol and smoking are not permitted in the sauna.

DO NOT pour your own water on the rocks.

Do not use any personal products, salt scrubs or oils in the sauna, only those provided by The Touring Sauna, and when permissive to do so.

Shaving is not permitted in the sauna.
Your belongings:
The Touring Sauna takes no responsibility for the damage or loss of customers’ property.
Please do not bring any valuables.
Cold plunges:
Wild Water Swimming/Plunge and Dipping is done so completely at your own risk.
NO under 16's allowed in Ice baths / plunge pool / cold showers.
We reserve the right to refuse admission for any reason that may be deemed a health and safety risk. If anyone is deemed to be acting against the terms of use we reserve the right to ask them to leave. Refunds will not be offered to anyone refused admission.
Our sauna sessions are available to anyone over the age of 13.
Children of 16 years and under are permitted to use the Sauna, with an Adult Family Member/ Guardian present at ALL TIMES during the hire and use of the sauna.
The waiver must state the relationship between the parent/guardian and the minor
and be signed and submitted prior to use.
